Recently, a customer from Middle East asked us to develop Vessel Inspection System by using our active RFID system.
Vessel Inspection System is powered by Nephsystem Technologies’ ultra long range active RFID reader and tag is to monitor the fishing activity in a fishing area.
When install several RFID readers at the entrance to this area and some RFID readers on the inspection boats inside the area. By this way, the entire fishing area is covered by detectors to monitor the fishing vessels at all times. Each and every fishing vessel will be equipped with RFID tags. When a fishing vessel enters the fishing zone, it is identified by the RFID reader and registered immediately. While inside the fishing zone, the vessels are constantly detected and monitored by the readers in zone in real time. The same applies when the vessel exit the area.
We have also developed a recreation boat tracking system for a customer from a Caribbean country. The customer has more than 30 recreation boats for rental, for safety issue, he wants to know if all the boats are under control.
When using with Nephsystem Technologies’ ultra long range active RFID reader NSAR-800 and tag NSAT-704, our customer is able to monitor the boating activity from 1500 meters away. Nephsystem’s Tag NSAT-704 has the Longest reading range on the market, the range is 10 times more than regular active RFID tag.
When install several RFID readers at the marina, our customer knows if the boat is within the assigned area. Also, he can expand the monitoring area by installing a reader on a patrol boat.
