Being one of the smallest and cost effective, stand-alone RFID devices in the world, NephSystem’s N380 Multiple Frequencies RFID reader/writer uses Plug & Play USB HID (Human Interface Device) or SPP (Serial Port Profile) technology to get RFID tag data into any Windows™/ Mac / Linux / Unix or even Android O.S. based application. N380 has the minimum power requirements through using the power directly from the USB port with no other connection required.
N380 series products may support reading or writing multiple frequencies tags, such as:
- 13.56MHz ISO/IEC 15683 (Model No. N380-HF)
- 13.56MHz ISO 14443A/B (Model No. N380-HF)
- 13.56MHz ICODE, TI, NXP, ST, INFINEON or FUJITSU (Model No. N380-HF)
- 860MHz ~ 960MHz ISO18000-6C EPC Gen 2 (Model No. N380-UHF)
By using the N380HID version, users just need to plug the N380 into an open USB port on the PC’s host, the N380 will be identified as a Human Interface Device (HID) and ready to scan RFID tags, the tag’s data (e.g. "EPC" or "UID") will be inserted into any desired applications such as Excel™, Word™, database, or other application where you want your tag data to be placed. This Plug & Play feature does NOT require any drivers or software to be installed or pre-loaded and allows users to immediately and easily integrate N380 into their own systems.
N380 also provides the capability of programming via Serial Port Profile or Virtual Com Port (Model: N380B) that allow users to develop their own software application based on the full SDK we provide. Its compact design and ready-to-use Plug & Play feature offer users the most versatile, flexible and convenient measurement capabilities.
