Nephsystem Technologies launched a passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID-based asset tracking solution. The solution provides accurate data about how medical supplies are actually being used, helps hospital to reduce medical supply expenditures and other inventory costs.
Once all medical equipment and supplies are tagged with UHF RFID tag, we offer different type of tag based on the material of the medical supplies, it could be UHF Gen 2 metal tag for medical equipment or UHF RFID label tag for plastic/paper material based medical supplies. With the help of fixed UHF Gen 2 RFID reader N620 or mobile UHF RFID reader N390 which can work with iPad and android tablet, everything is “visible”. It allows the hospital to locate medical equipment within a particular zone or room in real time. Clinical staff can instantly identify misplaced medical supplies and locate expired, expiring or recalled supplies.
